Day 39: Happy Easter

Well today was a pretty simple yet rewarding Easter for me! I slept in... which is no surprise considering I do it everyday, so I woke up and started getting ready for church! I drove my 40 minutes to my church which was pretty good! I'm starting to meet more people and everyone is super nice and friendly! The second counselor invited me over to his house after church for dinner, which was very nice, but I had already planned on going to the temple to spend my Easter Sunday! I stopped at this place that had about 15 food trucks up and going so I got a chicken cheesesteak sandwich! It was BOMB! After I left and drove an hour and 15 minutes to the temple! I spent 3 hours there today just walking about and looking at how beautiful it was! It even started pouring rain and I still just sat on the bench not caring if I got wet or cold! One of the sister missionaries walked over to me and I knew who she was! Her and I went to high school together and it was my roommates really good friend! It was pretty cool! I finally left once I was FREEZING and soaking wet! It takes me about 40 minutes to get home, once I got home I grabbed my ice cream and played with Xavier for a little before hitting the hay!
