Day 1: travel travel travel

Well as you can tell from the title not much went on today.. Waking up at 6:47 was a killer! I don't even remember the last time I did that! I didn't even wake up that early for school! After saying goodbye to one of my best friends (Coach Swaney) we hit the road and drove to Vegas! It really is amazing how I can sleep in the most awkward positions! 
Checking into flights was a little scary.. 50lbs is the weight limit.. All three of our bags were 49.5 lbs! We managed to pack me up in 3 large suitcases... 3 carry ons... And 3 backpacks! 

After going through security and getting a snack for the flight we just about missed the flight... "Last call for flight number **** to Houston" this flight was my favorite. Why you may ask. Well I'll tell you why! I was crawled up in a ball fast asleep the whole flight! Best 3 hour flight of my life! I woke up just in time for the flight attendant to tell us we were descending. *Next flight to Orlando* we walked down this hall to see which gate we were taking off from... It was a pretty good walk... Especially when you are carrying a heavy bag and a make up box full of not just make up! Well turns out.. It's the exact same gate we just got out of! Yes... We walked all that way for nothing! Flying into Orlando was beautiful! Being able to see Florida come up from the ocean.. Priceless!  

As we are getting closer and closer I keep on getting more and more excited!! We still have one more flight to go... Gainesville... There was a whole 9 people on that flight! It wasn't a bad flight at all... It took a whole 30 minutes! It was so loud I put my beats on and started jammin out to music and no one could even hear me!! I sat in the very back all alone.. No one was allowed in seats higher than 8!! I have never seen a sun so red and big! The sunset was BEAUTIFUL!! The picture does not do it justice! 

After picking up our luggage (all 3 bags made it safe) and the car we had a 40 minute drive into Palatka! I made the comment "I don't ever remember there being mosquitoes last time we were here" because she told me a friend of hers said to get repellent... Well.. Of course karma loves me! I got bit within the first 10 minutes IN THE CAR! BRING ON THE SMELLY REPELLENT! (Hope these boys are into that kind of smell) (don't worry... I found it... And killed it!!) I love how respectful everyone is down here.. Yes mam.. No mam.. I hear it everywhere.. I LOVE IT! After a not so much eventful day.. It's finally time for bed!
