Day 19: exhausted

Well today there isn't really much to tell at all haha I think from the hike two days ago and the beach all day yesterday I was just DEAD! It was Melisas day off so we did some work around the house and I did my laundry, but I took like 37 different naps that day! Then I went for a run... I mean walk... (sorry mom) and went to the store then came home and watched a movie and ate ice cream and that was literally my day!!

Day 18: BEACH

Well today Xavier and I decided that we wanted to go to the beach, so we packed our snacks, water sunscreen, beach stuff, and headed to the mall to get lunch to take there. Well after all that I had to pick up my medication but it wasn't ready yet! It had taken them 3 days to get it "ready" this is why I have anger issues because of STUPID people! Any ways so we went to the park in Kualoa because there is a big grass friend then it drops off into the beach, well it was really nice until I got into the water! I didn't realize that after your shins it was all just rocks! I was not about that so we loaded our stuff and went to a different beach! This one is in Kaaawa! It's my favorite because it's right off the road and not many people go there at all! It's more of a locals spot! Xavier is so funny because he is like me if he gets crushed by a wave he just laughs!! Well he will tell anyone that asks that he almost died and I think it's so funny! So I got tripped by a wave right? Well then it kinda took him back and the next wave was about to his neck so he thought he was drowning and he is just yelling for me! Then as soon as I got him to land he started laughing haha! We also found lots of crabs in the sand we would have to dig them up but they were cute! After that we just came home and hung out because we were both so tired and Melisa didn't get home until about 11 so we just laid on my bed and watched movies!

Day 17: Diamond Head

Today I went on a hike to diamond head! It was so beautiful! I have really loved hiking and seeing the island! Funny story! I was just taking to some random like 45 year old guy! Just having a normal conversation then he asked me if I wanted to go to dinner before he goes back to LA I said I was busy and he left hahaha WELL THEN I was FaceTimeing carrot and I saw him again... I was pretending to be on the phone well I was but I needed to make it more obvious! I heard my name... I ignored it... and he said it again! So I said yes? He asked if we could go out for drinks later on in the night when I get off work and if he gave up too easy. I said I never know when I get off work so it wouldn't work! Then he asked... "well are you even interested?" IM 21 YEARS OLD!! DID HE REALLY THINK I WOULD BE INTERESTED?! I said no hahaha it was sooo awkward! And carrot was just DYING on the phone laughing so hard! Day 16: rainy day

Well all day it was raining so Xavier and I just stayed inside all day and watched movies. He was expecting to have his grandma come get him, but she never came and he got super sad. I felt so bad! Then he had an allergic reaction to something so I gave him some Benadryl! That was pretty much my whole day! All the semi interesting things haha I did little stuff like set up car insurance and stuff! So yup!

Day 15: mall day with Xavier

Well today Xavier and I spent all day at the mall! First we went to lunch at Ninja which is a sushi place then of course we had to get ice cream! After that we went to play mini golf! Then went to the arcade! I know I know! I'm the best auntie ever! (That's what the kids here call me) after the mall we ran to the store to get groceries for dinner then I came home and made dinner! Day 14: Xavier all day!

Well this week is Xavier's spring break so I had him all day! And after he gets pack from his dad's she keeps him home since his dad doesn't give him a bedtime or anything! Homeboy was sooo tired! He thought I was the worse person in the world because I was sorting all the dvds and made him help in order to get some brownie! Well then he took a 3 hour nap! So I just worked on all the movies! We watched a bunch of movies!!  

Day 13: a day with Melisas mom

Well melisas mom had to go to this sewing shop to get her machine fixed and her husband doesn't like to go with her and she can't lift this sewing machines by herself since she is sick, so she called at 9 this morning and asked if I wanted to come help her! Of course I said yes just because it's a nice thing to do, but then Melisa told me she would pay me for it too so I wasn't too mad! We spent 3 hours at this sewing place! I was trying so hard to not fall asleep in the chair I was in Hahahah it was ROUGH! Then we went to lunch after and I tried something new and it was pretty good haha! Once I came home I took a nap since I was going on 1 hour of sleep! I took a 3 hour nap then got up and cleaned the fridge!! Like CLEANED the fridge! Then Melisa and I went to dinner at that place where you cook your own food! She got all this crazy stuff so I tried everything! And it was way good!  All of it was so good! They had these smoked pork tacos that were to die for! Then we came home and just went to bed haha

Day 12: Makapuu Lighthouse Trail

Today I decided that I wanted to go on a hike! So I looked some up and I decided to drive about 45 minutes to this BEAUTIFUL place where the water was like turquoise! It was amazing!!! So I got out and did this little hike. Well it wasn't even a hike it was a paved trail! But it was all uphill so it was a breather haha! It's so amazing here and I don't mean to brag, but I am so happy here it's at the point where I smile and wave to strangers I say hi to everyone! And I feel like I always have a smile on my face! I had some nice long talks with about 5 older ladies while we were looking for whales! I saw two whales there was a mamma and a baby! They were so cute! I had lunch on this wrong and met some French guy named Tebo! He was very nice he offered to take my picture so it was nice because now I have one picture that isn't a selfie haha! I was going to try and put together a movie, but for some reason my computer isn't pulling up the program that I used so I don't know what to do. I tried other ones but they wouldn't work! Oh I forgot to tell y'all something so this guy was trying to merge over into my lane and of course I'm just happy cruising so I waved him over and then he threw up the Shaka! It just made me even more happy haha I love it here! Then I saw his bumper sticker and it just made all my road rage go out the window hahaha hey. Have I mentioned that I love it here?       

 

Day 11: big day!!

Well a lot happened today!! I bought a car!! Yayy! Now I'm not taking the bus everywhere!! Once I got a car I literally packed some stuff and changed and went to this nice local beach that not a lot people know of because it's out of the city! It was so beautiful the beach was in the front and the mountains were in the back!! I seriously love it here! It keeps amazing me everyday!! https://vimeo.com/209164122    

Day 10: super lame!

Honestly I didn't leave the house at all today which is super lame I know! I just cleaned and I'm trying to get my room together!! Melisa come home with some pizza so we had that for dinner and watched a movie! I facetimed Tazz gosh I miss my baby!

Day 9: mall

Well today I went to the mall to get a backpack and of course I ended up buying some other stuff! I need all of it of course! No really I bought a portable charger which is super nice and convenient, but the jewerly I guess I could live without haha! I have Kahlúa pork, rice, and Mac salad for lunch! It was so good! Really though this whole doing Sammy thing is kinda nice! I never thought I could like going places alone! But I just don't have a care in the world!!

Day 8: my life is a joke

It would be funny if it wasn't me... but it was me! Me against the spider!! After that little thing went down I didn't go to bed until like 10am and then woke up at 12! I then went into town! I went on my first bus ever!! I was pretty proud of myself! I went to lunch, got my nails done, and went shopping! When I got home Xavier and I were wrestling and doing "yoga" haha he kills me! He is just a cute kids! I'm still looking for a car! We might go look at one tomorrow! Tonight Melisa met Alden haha well as much as you can meet someone on FaceTime! She really liked him so she is trying to convince him to come out here just as much as I am! Haha it starting to rain tonight, so I'm just laying here listening to how peaceful it is! I'll probably fall asleep soon!!

Day 7: ehhh so so

So this morning after I got Xavier ready for school and stuff I tried to go back to bed but I kept getting migranes! Once I fell asleep when I woke up I still had a migrane! It kept going in and out! I didn't get out of bed until around noon! Lucky me though Alden gets off work when it's 1 my time haha so of course we facetimed while I got ready! Trying to find a new car is rough! It's pretty stressful! I have started walking a lot! Today I went on about a 3 mile walk! And the views keep blowing me away!! I honestly didn't think I could love this place anymore, but it keeps surprising me! That would be weird if I was watching it alone huh? I may or may not be watching a lot of cartoon movies on my own! I keep trying to watch the bachelor, but I saw on Instagram that he chose the girl I HATE so I can't watch more than like 5 minutes before I get annoyed Haha yeah that was pointless information haha! Day 6: beautiful

 So I was supposed to get a car today, but they sold the one I was going to get, so I'm still stuck in the house! But I went on a walk today and it was sooooo beautiful! I honestly LOVE the green! Don't worry y'all I took pictures!!     Well I wanted to go on a lot longer walk but I saw some creepy guy walking down our road and he totally could have been a nice guy, but I dunno it was a weird vibe! So I turned around and just talked to Alden on FaceTime! P.s. If y'all could convince him to come out here to visit that would be great!! Also if anyone wants to visit you're more than welcome to!! I honestly don't know why but once it gets dark here I am so tired! I have been getting a full 8 hours of sleep and night and it is so nice! Y'all should try it sometime! It started to rain tonight as I was watching a movie and gosh it didn't help me being tired Haha! Tomorrow I think

I'm going for another walk. And I'll just bring my pepper spray or something haha not that I couldn't handle my own!! Well night guys! I miss you all!!

Day 5: lazy day!

Well today was my first day of work! And honestly waking up at 6am isn't that bad. It does help that I'm asleep by 10 every night haha! Well after dropping Xavier off I just did stuff around the house since I don't have a car yet! I cleaned the dishes, put together these two book shelfs things (YES BE PROUD OF ME) and I cooked dinner! The weather has been so beautiful here and it rains all the time and I love it!! I love the soothing sound of it! Once Xavier got home we watched moana and played hot wheels! Then started chicken run!! Such a great show!! Day 3: well you can't do that in Utah!

Today Ma and I woke up and decided to take the canoe out to the sand bar! It was so beautiful!! I'm not gunna lie I was a little scared when I couldn't see the ground anymore haha but once we got to the sandbar I was good haha! https://vimeo.com/208089103   After the sandbar we showered and check out of our hotel! Then we headed to check out where the church was and then went to lunch! We went to this Japanese place where you cooked your own food! It was wayyy good and cool to cook it ourself! After that we headed to the beach for a couple hours! Mom even took a nap haha after that we came to my new house!    fter I showered Alden and I facetimed until about 10 when I got SUPER tired and headed to bed! (Dang I miss that boy!! Shhh don't tell him!!)

Day 4: wet n wild

Day 2: Xavier's birthday

Last night I slept for almost 12 hours! When we woke up we went and had breakfast and the view was increadable!! After mom and I went for a little walk through the neighborhood! We found all this fluffy lumpy grass which was way cool! P.s. If y'all have Snapchat add me (Sammyjo137) I post a TON of pictures and videos haha!

Ma and I then went and got a pedicure... and oh was it nice! They massaged our legs with these hot rocks and it felt sooo good! After we went searching for cars... not much luck! But we are still looking! The first day we were here we bought 3 pints of different ice cream so today we ate almost all of it in the hot tub haha! 

One of the coolest things happened! I was on the phone then all the sudden the water in the river just started going CRAZY! Well all the big fish were coming in to eat the little fish!! And then the little fish were all trying to get up on the land to get away!! Then if they got stuck the crabs would come get them all! It was pretty cool!! 

We met the family I will be nannying for and it was Xzavier's birthday so we went out for dinner and met them! Over all it was just a fun relaxed day! Haha! I still can't get over how beatiful this side of the island is! P.s. Day 1: traveling into my new adventure

Well, I figured I would start posting on this thing again to keep everyone informed with my life! For everyone who doesn't know I posted everyday while I was playing volleyball in Florida, but stopped when I ran into my heart problems!

So here we are more than two years later! And my new adventure has brought me to HAWAII! I got a job out here being a nanny, and to be honest I needed to get out of St. George! 

So I guess I'll get started and tell you about my day. 

My night ended really late, and the morning started really early! Mom and I didn't leave St. George until like 11pm so we got into Vegas around 12 Vegas time! And who wouldn't want to go over to a cute boys house before you left? So I went over to Alden's for a little bit, but we fell asleep on the couch until 2:30am. I got home around 3am and Judys alarm went off at 3:45 we left for the airport at 4:15! We flew from Vegas to San Fransisco, then San Fran to Hawaii! The flight wasn't that bad Ma and I both slept a lot and watched movies! I taught her how to even use Instagram haha! She's so cute isn't she? Once we got here we just did basic got the rental car, checked into the hotel (CUTEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT!) and went to the mall to eat! And of course we had to stop and get ice cream! I was planning to get into the hot tub tonight, but I PASSED out at like 7:30 and didn't wake up until 10! Judy is knocked out next to me and I will join her soon after I show y'all how BEAUTIFUL Kaneohe is!
