Day 37: work hard.. Play hard!

So today was a tournament so there isn't going to be much to say.. I won our first game in 3 and lost our second in 4... It was a dog fight though... Greatest thing that happened during the tournament... Well two things actually.. First.. I had probably 3 coaches ask me where I'm from and tell me that I'm a great player... And secondly... I DOMED A GIRL RIGHT IN THE FACE... I know it's rude but in volleyball that's the greatest accomplishment!! Oh and one more thing haha today our bus driver drove over a median haha he drove into this parking lot that was a dead end and clearly he couldn't back the whole bus up clear back there so we just went over the median... It was awesome!!

I just finished my homework and now I'm going to bed 

Day 36: Happy Birthday me!

Good thing I put my phone on the little moon thing because when I woke up my phone had blown up! Haha thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!! 

Here is my little cutie!! 

So I got randomly drug tested and I couldn't pee for 2 hours so I sat there and drank and jump hoped for two hours!! Well 3 tries later I finally went! Well I peed before we got on the bus... Lasted an hour and decided I had to pee again!! Coach was not stopping for nothing... I had to pee in a cup on the bus for the first time ever!! I almost had to again about 30 minutes later and had someone chug a Gatorade so I could pee in it! Well I waited.. It was close but I made it haha I peed 3 times at that gas station! If y'all didn't know we drove to North Carolina today 

We stopped at the mellow mushroom to eat dinner and they made this big deal out of my birthday.. Hey it was good dessert so I wasn't mad at all!!(: 

I'm in the hotel now about to go to bed! We okay at 12! I better go to bed. Night. 

Day 35: Guess who is officially 19!!(:

IWell jokes on us... Us 6 volleyball girls may have just gotten kicked out of a class haha right? The professor threw a fit that we were going to miss so much... Oh well.. We will see what happens! 

So in my other class my teacher told us that this gang has been spotted on campus and bla bla bla whatever well I was seriously scared! But it was a joke!! 

We had a scrimmage today.. We were supposed to leave at 4:15.. Some girls were late and we started driving away.. I thought we were leaving them.. He just pulled the bus into the other parking lot and made them run... The girls WALKED! Yeah they didn't play at all... 

I killed it today!! I passed amazing and hit pretty good! We played a 4 year school and only lost by 2! 

 

I got to open one of my birthday packages before I left and I was PUMPED!! 

Tomorrow we leave for North Carolina... So I better get some sleep!!  

Day 34: I fell asleep last night before I could post.

So yesterday we didn't have practice until 2 in the afternoon. So I made an omlet and was lirking on the UPS guy haha I wanted my birthday package so bad!!

It's a easy practice because we are playing today. I went to study hall before practice for about an hour then headed to practice. After practice I went home and did homework.. I swear all I do is homework and volleyball. Sometimes I get to sleep! 

This kid named Daniel wanted to hang out last night so we went to dinner and watched a movie! He is very nice and very old fashioned so he is very respectable haha 

Yesterday was Patricks birthday so I had kristi give him a carrot cake!! 

She did pretty good don't you think? Gosh I miss him soo much! I mean look how cute we are together.. 

 

Day 33: Mondays are crazy!

On Mondays and Wednesday I am literally at the school from 11 until 9:30 at night. I have two classes then usually practice then after practice a night class. Today we had our off day though so I went to study hall for 3 hours instead! As much as going to study hall sucks... It really does help. I have private tutors... I actually do my work and I get it done! 

So my birthday is in 2 days right.. I have been getting packages and it's KILLING me to not be able to open them!! They are just wanting to be opened so bad! I know they do!! 

In my night class today my professor thought I was so smart! We were taking about Maslows hierarchy of needs and I knew what all the levels and where they went! I felt like a champ!! 

Today was leg day so when I come home.. It's really a struggle to get up my stairs! I'm so tired it's not even funny! (Not from alcohol) hahaha gosh I'm too funny!! I FaceTime Patrick tonight and got to see the whole Rich family! It was nice to talk with all of them! I facetime my nieces Taylor and tanner also! I just wish people could come visit you know? It would be real nice! 

Alright it's becoming a struggle to stay away now so goodnight 😘

Day 32: SUNNNNDAY

Well I guess I need to start off with some clarification... My mom called me and told me I could be giving out mixed signals! First off... Ritas... Not margaritas.. It's an Italian ice shop! Secondly, when I said I was going to pass out last night after going to the bar.. Dont take that as I was drinking.. I was going to pass out because we got home at 4 in the morning! Haha let's put on record that I am still a good girl that doesn't drink!! 

Now that that is over I started my day off the right way..! With church of course!! I'm not going to lie it was so hard to get up but hey I did it! When I came home.. That's when I crashed! (Not because of alcohol) 😉 I slept until about 2 and then started my homework. Tyler needed help with math so he came over also! We did homework for a while and finally got a printer working! I was getting so stressed out because I needed a paper printed! Tyler has agreed to leave his printer here! I'm super happy about that! We had to go to walmart though to get some ink. Do y'all know how expensive that stuff is?!? Wowww good thing I didn't pay for it!! When we came home it was time to get ready for practice. Practice was short we did a lot of 6 on 6 and I only lost 1 time! Even with switching players around and all that! When we came home Tyler came back over and we all did more homework! WELCOME TO COLLEGE!!  I finally did some laundry so I can wear cute stuff tomorrow!!(: well I think that's about it for today! I got to go and write my hot missionary before I pass out (not because or alcohol) haha 

Day 31: Lets just drive everywhere

Well this morning we started a lot earlier that I wanted! We left for the beach around 10:30. Way too early for my likings! So we went to the beach for seriously all day. We met this huge group of guys who go to school in Jacksonville. (Oh p.s we went to Jacksonville not St. Augustine) We were just playing Frisbee, football, and we had this little water bouncy ball! Oh my goodness we got ritas!! 😍❤️ 

Okay so this goddess parade happened... That's all I know haha 

So when we came home we got ready. After we got ready we left for Gainsville we got there late because we had to wait on some girl. It was alright night but not as great as last time! 

It's sad that I only have pictures and no stories! I'm about to pass out now. Just like this girl right outside a bar! How sad huh? 

This kids is why you don't drink!! 

One last comment before I go to bed.. I found the love of my life! His name is bacon ranch cheddar cheese fries!! 

Day 30: Who needs to party when you have treats?

Well today was another good practice.. In all I think I had two hitting errors.. BUT i could be wrong! We did a lot of 6 on 6 and my side won almost all of the drills!! After practice Marina and I came home and Shannan went to St. Augustine with Ashley.. I made dinner and it was SOOO good!!

After dinner we were so full and tired we wanted to take a nap! Well... Marina slept for almost 3 hours and I couldnt sleep! Its okay though because that means im going to sleep like a baby tonight! 

When shannan came home we laid in bed and watched vines for a little bit until we decided that we wanted to cry our eyes out with a movie night! 

What is a movie night without snacks? Gosh those brownies are the best ever! Walnuts with caramel!! I love them!! 

The older girls were throwing another party tonight and everyone wanted me to go but there was no way I was putting on make up... Getting dressed up and going out just to kick butt at beer pong just cause im sober and no one else is haha. The party was super lame I hear though haha I guess only 4 people showed up! Hahah so i was content with just watching a movie and getting fat!! So we watched two movies.. Heaven Is For Real.... wayyy good and wayy sad also! and we also watched Endless love... The beginning is mine and patricks relationship haha oh my goodness... I lost it and Shannan even looked at me and was like why in the heck did you leave?!?! You had that!! For real... That was my life!! The girl is leaving for college in two weeks or whatever and they just spend all the time they can with each other..

Isnt that like freaky? Yeah I know!! I think we are going to jacksonville tomorrow to go to the beach sooo yeah! Ill let yall know how tomorrow goes!! 

Day 29: Thunder storms ❤️

Okay so this morning was practice. This is the third time he has told us our top hitters and passers. Yesterday I was on hitting and serving but today I was on hitting and passing. (He didn't tell us serving) today's is in pink.

So after practice we are all ready to leave when he tells us to be back at 1:30 for skill work. So we came home and pulled out the couch.. Best nap of my life! It was a full two hours and it was amazing!! Shannan had a dream that Taylor swift tried to kill her haha 

during skill work I decided to work in passing and defense 100% honest I felt like I got so much better just by doing that. 

When we got done with that we went home to shower and get ready because we had a nutrition thing.. It rained all day from when we left practice at about 3 until late tonight. It's not like it's little rain either. Like it comes down hard and the thunder is so loud!! I love it!! 

So when we got done with the nutrition thing we had a little team meeting. And then Tyler asked me to drive to Gainsville with him so he didn't fall asleep. So that's what my night consisted of.. A hour and a half of playing the question game haha it's amazing what you can learn about people in an hour. I found this whole we were driving haha

When we came home we did homework. I was all busting my butt thinking that something was due tomorrow.. I DONT EVEN HAVE THAT CLASS TOMORROW! I was pissed. I kept on working on it so I could just get it done but then I fell asleep doing homework haha that's why I'm posting about yesterday because I seriously passed out.

Day 28: Thank The Lord for baseball players!

So before I get into the reason why I titled this blog the way I did I will talk about my day first!
Today was just like any other wednesday that I am going to have.. I went to class at 11 and was let out early! I havent been to a whole class yet haha I had 45 minutes to kill before I had to go into my next class.. Well outside they have all these cute tables under trees.. Well the only one open with no people was the smoking zone haha. When we walked over there I saw tylers truck so of course I had to leave him a note on his truck! Yeah I burnt myself while trying to put the note on his huge truck haha

Sooo yeah I went to school.. Whatever same ol same ol! Well today when we were in practice I was doing soo good! This is the second day that we have kept stats of who the best passers.. hitters... and servers guess who was in the top three for hitting and serving!! This girl! I only passed 3 balls and everyone else had like 12 so it was a given that I wasnt in the top for that hahaha 

After practice I had class.. Oh my gosh.. most boring class of my life.. two and a half hours of listening to someone who is just going on and on about names and where this kids name came from... We were in Comp 1! When class got over at 8:30 I went to go lift! On my way to the gym I found my little friend! 

Okay now time for why I titled this the way I did... Well... I was just chillin.. having a good time and Shannan starts to freak out.. "Thats the biggest spider I have ever seen" When we helped that lady with her spider shannan said that she had seen bigger so im scared! I looked up into this corner and there is this HUGE A SPIDER in the corner just looking at us like "What the heck are you doing in my house"?!?! We called tyler and hunter for them to come over! I couldnt even be up stairs when this happened because I was so scared! I guess Hunter just stabbed it and twisted with a broom it was sooo gross!!! okay are yall ready to see this?! Im going to hit return a couple times so that the suspense will kill you!!!!

Day 27: The Beauty of College volleyball

Well this morning sucked because guess who had practice at 8am. I didn't have any classes today so I was all pumped to sleep in!! We'll mindset changed and I thought okay I can sleep after! Well.. Today our passing was a crap show so coach decided he wanted another practice just for serving.  That is the beauty of college volleyball... It literally controls your life! Ask me if I got to nap.. Yes I did. Ask me if it was as long as I wanted? Heck no it wasn't! Waking up was SOOO hard! Shannan asked if it was too late to drop out... I wanted to run away! Well after that practice we had a two hour athlete orientation. I wanted to die! SO BORING!! During the whole thing I could feel someone staring at me! I couldn't figure out who it is but Shannan saw who it was.. His name is Daniel! I met him at the party on Saturday and he is not happy about how much Tyler and I are hanging out haha! It's whatever! 

Everyone know about the ice bucket challenge right? Well I was nominated so I had to do it!! Kill myself.. So cold!! It's on Instagram and Facebook if you want to watch the video! 

So when we got home we got papa johns pizza and started homework! I hope I dont have that much everyday.. I had to read 30 pages out of the textbook.. Take a test... Bla bla bla! Min seriously just got done and I fell asleep on the couch.. I woke up and hated my life the second I realized I didn't write on my blog tonight so here it is!! 

Oh also.. Here is one of my access codes for something.. They told me to tell a ton of people so I didn't lose it haha so don't forget 😉

Day 26: Im A Big Kid Now

Well you guess it.. I started school today! Holy shiz where did the time go? I dont know! I bet you didnt know I was a poet huh? I am officially a Viking haha

I had 4 classes today.. Three before practice.. Then practice at 3 and my last class at 6. Guess what time my earliest class is... 11! But it does suck that I have class until 8:30. During class Marina didnt know how long my class was so she called me and texted me freaking out asking if I was okay ahah . After we got done with practice and my class we went to the gym to lift! When we came home we were starving!! I seriously dont think that I EVER ate this much back home... I EAT SO MUCH!!
Practice is at 8 in the morning so its time for me to pass out!!

Day 25: Thank you for relaxing Sundays!

As you can tell today was a relax day! It was much needed! I slept in (I know what yall are thinking... I know I know.. Yall are all disappointed that I didnt go to church) When I woke up around 11 I made breakfast like a good little house wife always does! Some other girls came over because they heard I was cooking haha. After we ate we decided today we wanted to lay out by the pool. So thats what we did for a couple of hours! It was so relaxing and nice! 

After the pool we all decided that we wanted to lift earlier than the whole team was lifting so we went and lifted by our self.. After lifting we did an ab circle where everyone in the circle chooses an exercise that they want to do... It got my abs going haha 

Yall all know how im OCD about certain stuff... Well sometimes I wish I wasnt! I wish I could just have things be the way they should be. but NOOOO I have to go and make my own shiz WITH COLORS! These are all my classes haha

Okay so you remember Tyler right? Baseball player, beerpong partner. Yeah well he came over today and watched a movie with all of us! Well two nights ago when he was over we were going through all my pictures on my phone. Today we went on his! He is so cool haha where he is from he hunts hogs all the time and has like a million pictures of them! He also hunts alligators! He is going to cook me some alligator! I dont know how I feel about that yet haha 

Way cool huh? 

Alright well im going to bed because guess what... Im turning into a big girl over night because I have class in the morning!! Its at 10am but still haha school is school!! 

Day 24: Work all day, party all night

So today we had our first preseason scrimmages... We had three games but lost all three... It was weird though because it went for time and not points. It was kinda really sloppy. Of course I have to read a scripture before every game or else I suck so here is mine the this morning

After the games we came home and got ready for the baseball and volleyball party tonight! The party was way fun! I learned that I am way good at beer pong! Of course everyone else was seeing double and Tyler and I were seeing straight! He doesnt drink either... I think thats so cool to not want to drink for yourself! We came home pretty late and were STARVING so I decided to make a sandwich with a bagel.. Way good. Im so tired and its sooo late!

Day 23: IM ALIIIIVE!

Guess who made it through two a days!! this girl!! WAHHHOO today was our last one! It felt so good to be done... Im not going to lie... before our second session we had about 20 minutes to kill so we were just in the gym talking with all our stuff on and it was cold so I put my arms and lets in my tshirt... PASSED OUT! I can fall asleep so easy its unreal!

So once we got done with practice we went to bells and went shopping!! I got these cute sweats for wayy cheap! 

When we came outside... The sunset was so beautiful!! 

 Thats like unreal right? Yeah I know!!

Did you also know that all the cute jar cups that you see on pintrest and everything... those are real things? I LOVE MY NEW CUP! 

We went to Windixie... (I didnt know that was real until I got here... I thought it was just a movie) and we got lots of food for cheap because of coupons!!! Tyler (Some kid on the baseball team) didnt want to be at his house because someone had someone over that he didnt like so he came and chilled with us! He is a little sassy haha but for the most part I think he is funny!! 

Well tomorrow I have my first college game so wish me luck!! Pray for me!! I miss you all!! 

Day 22: First college mess up

Now im sure mom my is freaking out right now because of the title... but mom... dont worry! I DIDNT MESS UP! There was a mess up with some of our classes! I guess one of the teachers is WAY bad and so Coach switched us all out of it... The only problem is that it is during practice times... So now our practices are going to be all over the place! Everyone is a little stressed out but we will make it work!! So we had our morning practice... and our afternoon started with dropping that class and then picking up a new one... We then went and lifted then practiced. After practice we had to do my favorite thing ever!!

 

Yall know how much I just LOVE them ice baths!! When we were walking back to our car I saw this... Please bless you can read it... If not... It says fat albert! I just about died!! 

 I was so cold after the ice bath that I couldnt get warm at all so at first I sat outside in the front until it started raining... So then I moved to our balcony finally it was my turn to shower... Its crazy that you can feel yourself defrosting hahah

For dinner we went to sonnys and I had the best salad bar of my life!! 

We went to walmart to get some basic needs... Moose... Hair spray... lipstick... they typical

When we got home we tried on almost everything to try and decide what we are going to wear to the baseball and volleyball party!! 

No luck with that so we stuck to a tshirt and shorts then watched a movie and ate ice cream!!

Guess what tomorrow is... MY LAST TWO A DAY!!!! LETS GOO

Day 21: Recovery day!

We didnt start practice until 11:15 because coach had some meeting so we lifted at 10:30 then had practice.. So when we were doing our warm up stuff we were all dreading the planks... When it was time to do them the second greatest moment of my life happened!! HE SAID GRAB A BALL AND A PARTNER!!!! NO PLANKS!!!! YESSSS! Greatest moment of my life... He hits this HARD ball at me.. I get this amazing dig... He nods his head and winks at me!! You know you did good when you get the wink!! I was PUMPED!! So we only had one practice today because its our recovery day.. We came home and got cleaned up then went to go get our books for school!! HOLY COW!! Did yall know how expensive they were? I didnt!!

plus im still missing two books!! 

When we came home we just laid on our new pull out!! It was actually really comfortable. 

We just got home from Ashleys house and now passing out.. Its crazy how im tired by like 7 haha
